WEB DESIGN:

The design for my website began with the consideration of making a contempary and easy-to-use site that was able to convey to a viewer, fairly quickly, my general purpose and stylistic approach toward design.

The development of my site centered around the index page. I felt that abstract designs conveyed a brilliant sense of design and would create a good backdrop for a design library. However, I did not want the form that I chose to be so radical that the viewer would feel overwhelmed or confused. Similarly, I wanted a design that complimented the function and purpose of the site, not dominate it. Some of the images I considered are on the left.

The yellow design provided a flowing design that was easy to transition to the various links and provided a color scheme throughout my project sites.

Underneath the image appears the word "imagine." The yellow "i" in my name links the viewers attention to the "i" in "imagine". The reason for this is simply because I feel this word describes and manifests itself in all my work. I feel design is driven by imagination.

Although I have never assembled a website before, I felt that this was an immersive learning opportunity. Developing a website takes consideration, planning, and deliberation in every detail, just as in any design project. I learned a great deal in the few weeks we were assigned the project and look forward to expanding on this skill.
